Hello Valerie..... I've extracted the
notes below from a summary of Saturday's (21st April 2007) ringing that
was sent to the bird club. 2 Willow Warblers singing at western end of site, Lapwings calling from the fields below, Green Woodpecker yaffling, Great Spotted Woodpecker hammering away at a nestbox, Yellowhammer singing. Cowslips in one of the net rides, Brimstones (males and females), peacocks, holly blues seen. Best regards..... Brian
