I told Maddy that I had not any further photographs of Wee Windy and wished I had taken more now when he was in Findon. I often met his late owner, Mr. W. Gale out on the Downs on dog walks with his Jack Russell, Dolly. Mr Gale told me that he had named his horse Wee Windy because when a young school boy, the sports master would shout during a game of football or rugby ......"Come on, Wee Windy".
I suggested to Maddy that she have an up to date photograph of Wee Windy when she was riding him and send it to me to put in this article.
| 6th April 2006 Wee Windy Photographs I've got some photo's of Windy but I couldn't get one of me riding him because I rode a different horse instead. (I rode Rooney who's REALLY stubborn!) Hope you like them. Maddy Jones, Chailey, East Sussex
