At the end of December 2004 the Arun District Council produced a draft Supplementary Planning document and are proposing that a number of properties in the village come under this auspices. 

This is the "first round of community consultation" on the subject.

A so-called second round of formal consultation will be undertaken in May/June 2005 prior to formal adoption as a Supplementary Planning document.
