Chanctonbury Ring above Findon is one of our most famous landmarks and I could see it even when I was living in Henfield. The Ring's  beauty was, unfortunately. ceased in October 1987 when the hurricane hit Sussex destroying many of the beeches.  This, however, has not stopped the rumours and reportings of many strange paranormal events that have happened at Chanctonbury Ring.

This is a view from the fields of Findon over to Chanctonbury Ring in the distance by James E. Cooper.
