A little bit of recent history for you. In July 1987, traces of a mysterious black magic ceremony were found at Cissbury Ring. Objects with satanic links! Coincidentally just hours after the appearance of a new moon. Spooky!
A walker on the Ring stumbled on plastic masks in the form of the Devil, a ram and an ape. Also found at the scene was a small wooden box. Inside were four metal plates stamped with the intials GORT I, GORT II, GORT III and GORT IV. It was reported at the time that Cissbury Ring had "long been linked to ancient magic as it was the site of a meeting of two ley lines — prehistoric tracks said to be a source of great spiritual power".
